Professional development for practising teachers, drawn from 25+ years across IB, IGCSE, ICSE, CBSE and Alliance Française classrooms.
After more than 25 years in education, including IB, IGCSE, ICSE and CBSE environments, I believe strongly that teachers must continue to evolve.
Teacher training at SpeakShine is not about giving experienced teachers another set of theories and sending them home. It is about asking: What happens inside your classroom? How do your students experience you? Are they listening because they have to — or because they are genuinely interested? Does your lesson plan leave room for curiosity? Do your students feel safe enough to make mistakes?
Experience is valuable. But experience combined with reflection creates growth. My own teaching has changed because my students have changed me. That is what I want to bring to teacher training.
